County Helps Residents Resolve Marital, Family Disputes
ByYao Yao August 30, 2022[For Women of China] |
To promote harmony within families and to better protect women and/or children's legal rights and interests, Helan Women's Federation and various organizations (including the law enforcement agencies, and public security and civil affairs departments in Helan, a county in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region) in May established a family mediation studio at the marriage registration office, under Helan's Civil Affairs Bureau.
The studio entrusts social organizations to help residents resolve family disputes, to offer residents advice on how to improve their relations with their family members, and to help cadres with the women's federations, at various levels in Helan, improve their ability to protect their rights and interests, in part to promote social harmony and stability.
In recent years, Helan Women's Federation has established various organizations (to help women and children better protect their legal rights and interests), including women and children's rights-protection work stations, women's psychological aid stations and stations that provide psychological counseling to residents, to help them resolve disputes with their family members.
